brimin download and installation

You will need to register to download the software.

After downloading, extract the files as follows.

prompt% tar -zxvf brimin-3.4.19.tgz
brimin3/
brimin3/brimin.sh
brimin3/brimin
brimin3/brimin_glibcxx_3.4.19_22.01-21.02.exe

This will extract the files into a subdirectory called brimin3. You may want to add this subdirectory to your PATH environment variable in order to be able to call brimin from any location
